All rentals are Lake Vermilion only. Daily rentals begin at 9:00 AM. Some boats require a credit card damage authorization ranging from $1,000 – $3,000.
To rent one of our boats, you must be 21 years of age and present a valid driver’s license. In Minnesota, a Watercraft Operator’s Permit is mandatory for operators born after June 30, 2000. Non-residents visiting for under 60 days using an out-of-state boater card are generally exempt. A deposit of 50% of your total reservation is required at the time of the reservation. If you need to cancel more than 15 days before the date of rental, your deposit will be refunded less a $50 administrative fee. At less than 15 days, the deposit is forfeited. The balance is due at the time of rental. If you need to arrive later than 30 minutes after your designated check-in time, you will need to call to make arrangements or forfeit your reservation. (No pets allowed on boat rentals).


Our fleet of 2023 Lund SSV-16 fishing boats are for the renters who need a tow/tag boat for their Houseboat rental and want to explore & fish Lake Vermilion close to their Houseboat mooring site. These boats are equipped with 15HP Mercury tiller outboards, built in non-skid flooring, & bench seats.

The 16′ Lund Alaskan fishing boat is a must have for the avid angler who is visiting Lake Vermilion because of its reputation as one of Minnesota’s top fishing destinations. This boat is equipped with a MinnKota transom mounted trolling motor, 60hp tiller Mercury outboard, Humminbird Helix 9 with Sonar/GPS/LakeMaster Map Chip/Mega Side & Down Imaging, live well, and a full tank of gas.

The classic Old Town canoe is one of our favorite ways to explore the bays and coves of the lake. This 15.5′ fiberglass canoe can seat up to two people, life jackets included as well as oars. Don’t forget to mention the canoe when calling to make your reservation!

The kayak is the ultimate way to catch your shore lunch and brag to your buddies who are drooling over your social media posts. Not only can you catch fish but also explore the quiet bays and shallow waters of beautiful Lake Vermilion.
