Lake Vermilion MN Boat Rentals
Make the most of your houseboat vacation with our rental fleet. From spacious tritoons built for watersports and family fun to nimble fishing boats and quiet paddlesports, we have the right boat for every kind of explorer.
All rentals are for Lake Vermilion only. Daily rentals run 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Some boats require a credit card damage authorization of $1,000–$3,000.
Looking to add a canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard to your houseboat stay? These items can be reserved as add-ons when you book your houseboat. Just let us know when you call or include a note with your online reservation and we’ll take care of the rest.
Rental Requirements
You must be 21 or older and present a valid driver’s license. In Minnesota, a Watercraft Operator’s Permit is required for operators born after June 30, 2000. Non-residents visiting for fewer than 60 days with an out-of-state boater card are generally exempt.
A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. Cancellations made more than 15 days before the rental date receive a refund of the deposit minus a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations within 15 days forfeit the deposit. The remaining balance is due at rental. If you arrive more than 30 minutes past your scheduled check-in time, please call ahead to make arrangements—otherwise the reservation may be forfeited. No pets are allowed on boat rentals.

A strong choice for anglers who want to fish one of Minnesota’s top lakes. Includes a MinnKota transom-mounted trolling motor, 60 HP tiller Mercury outboard, Humminbird Helix 9 with sonar/GPS/LakeMaster map chip and Mega Side & Down Imaging, livewell, and a full tank of gas.
