In honor of Oiva Maki, the original founder of Lake Vermilion Houseboats, is our newly built series of Houseboats! Oiva had the vision & entrepreneurial spirit to personally build the first Houseboats on beautiful Lake Vermilion at the current site of the business. Current owners, Kyle & Joy Colbert, share that same vision & spirit to revitalize the current fleet, build on Oiva’s original inspiration to start Lake Vermilion Houseboats, and make the fleet sustainable for future generations of family and friends to enjoy the unique experience of Houseboating on Minnesota’s Lake Vermilion. The Maki Series come standard with hot tub, generator, microwave, drip coffee maker, charcoal grill, smart TV, Humminbird GPS, & and all the cookware/dishware for your cooking needs. (NO SUNDAY OR WEDNESDAY CHECK-INS)
